A new Johnnie Walker bottling to celebrate women, Martini’s non-alcoholic aperitivos and a Dewar’s whisky finished in mezcal casks were among the top products unveiled last month. Bacardi ramps up hand sanitiser production

Family-owned firm Bacardi has pledged to produce 1.1 million litres of alcohol for hand sanitiser production, while Indian spirits group Radico Khaitan has also vowed to make the disinfectant. Last week, Bacardi shifted production at its Puerto Rico distillery to provide raw materials to make hand sanitiser. Bacardi backs ‘debilitated’ bars with $3m donation

Family-owned spirits firm Bacardi has pledged an additional US$3 million in financial aid to support bars and restaurants “debilitated” by the coronavirus shutdown. Bacardi-owned Patrón Tequila has donated US$1 million to support charities providing relief for families, individuals and business owners in the hospitality industry that have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
