Foursquare Distillery bottles 12-year-old rum

Barbadian producer Foursquare Distillery has partnered with Wealth Solutions to release a limited edition 12-year-old rum. Foursquare 12 Years Old is a blend of distillates made using alembic and column distillation, fully matured in ex-Bourbon casks in Barbados and bottled without any added sugar or flavours. Barbadian rum Mount Gay has appointed its first female master blender, Trudiann Branker, who steps into the role after a five-year apprenticeship with outgoing master blender Allen Smith. A fire broke out at Rémy Cointreau’s Mount Gay Rum distillery in Barbados yesterday (16 January) after flames engulfed a tank containing 150,000 gallons of alcohol.
