Calvados brand Avallen has surpassed its £250,000 (US$316,000) fundraising target to support the next phase of the company’s growth. Healthy Hospo founder Tim Etherington-Judge and wine and spirits specialist Stephanie Jordan launched Calvados brand Avallen in April last year. Sliabh Liag Distillers hits €1.5m funding target

Irish spirits producer Sliabh Liag Distillers has surpassed its €1.5 million (US$1.7m) fundraising target in less than two weeks. In July 2020, the company said it aimed to raise €1.5m through a Crowdcube campaign to help build its new distillery in County Donegal.
