Diageo president North America Deirdre Mahlan to retire

Deirdre Mahlan, Diageo president North America, will retire at the end of June and will be succeeded by Debra Crew. Mahlan joined the Johnnie Walker owner in 2001 after working at Seagram. Diageo pays $5m fine over ‘misleading’ sales

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has fined Diageo US$5 million after its North American arm created a “misleading picture” of its financial results.
