Suntory brings Irish spirits distribution in-house

Maker’s Mark owner Beam Suntory has appointed Lucozade Ribena Suntory Ireland (LRSI) as its official spirits distributor in the Republic of Ireland. Cutty Sark signs new distributor in Germany

MBG Group has signed an agreement with La Martiniquaise-Bardinet to distribute the French firm’s Cutty Sark blended Scotch whisky brand in Germany. The distribution deal came into effect from January 2020. Cutty Sark blended Scotch was launched in 1923 and was acquired by La Martiniquaise-Bardinet in 2018. It was previously owned by Edrington. Hybrid wine and gin drinks brand Gin King, which is based in the UK county of Surrey, has secured a £90,000 (US$112,000) export deal with a US wine merchant.
