TFWA visitor numbers soar 7% in record attendance

The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes has reported record attendance for the 2019 show, with visitor numbers up 7% compared with last year. A total of 7,531 delegates attended this year’s event, which took place from 29 September to 4 October in the French Riviera town. Pernod GTR boss: Adaptability is key in travel retail

Despite its challenges, travel retail is in a “much stronger” position to generate value growth than domestic retail, the CEO of Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has said. Ukrainian vodka brand Nemiroff has expanded its presence in travel retail and appointed a new distributor for its products in Germany. Nemiroff has appointed African Eastern as its travel retail distributor in the UAE and on the Indian subcontinent.
