Beam Suntory has created an Amazon-exclusive expression of Auchentoshan single malt Scotch whisky, which has been finished in ex-Sauvignon Blanc wine casks. Set to launch on 15 November, Auchentoshan Sauvignon Blanc was first matured in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in Sauvignon Blanc barrique casks. Alcohol e-commerce start-up Thirstie has partnered with beverage innovation company Drinkworks to provide a streamlined purchasing system for its products. The collaboration will see Thirstie deliver a “seamless e-commerce experience” across Drinkworks’ portfolio, which includes an in-home alcohol dispenser. Drizly reportedly eyeing move into cannabis

On-demand drinks delivery service Drizly is reportedly planning to enter the cannabis sector and is also suing its former CEO Nick Rellas over a violation of a non-competition agreement. The owner of online drinks retailer 31 Dover, DMD Ventures, has reported a 98% increase in turnover for its 2017/18 fiscal year to reach £11.9 million (US$15.7m).
