English producer buys London Distillery Co

Spirits producer The British Honey Company (BHC) has acquired Dodd’s Gin owner The London Distillery Company for an undisclosed sum. Buckinghamshire-based BHC said the deal is part of its “ambitious” growth strategy for 2020. Ian Macleod Distillers-owned Edinburgh Gin has expanded its portfolio with the release of a bramble and honey-flavoured expression. The latest full-strength flavoured gin release from the Scottish brand follows the unveiling of a jasmine-infused expression and the release of its rhubarb and ginger-flavoured gin.
