Bushmills debuts Cognac cask-finished whiskey

Irish whiskey brand Bushmills has kicked off the Rare Casks Series with the release of a 28-year-old single malt matured in ex-Cognac barrels. Distilled from a mashbill comprising 100% unpeated malted barley, Bushmills 28 Year Old Single Malt Cognac Cask Whiskey was distilled in 1992 and aged for 11 years in Bourbon and oloroso Sherry barrels. Covid-19 puts 114,000 hospitality jobs at risk

As many as 114,000 jobs could be lost in Ireland’s hospitality industry without government support for the sector, according to a report published as lockdown measures are tightened once again in Dublin. Irish bars and pubs close over ‘reckless behaviour’
