ICAP founder Marcus Grant dies

Marcus Grant, founder of the International Center for Alcohol Policies (ICAP), died just before Christmas. Grant, who died on 22 December 2019, dedicated more than 40 years of his professional life to tackling alcohol-related harm, advocating for a ‘whole of society’ approach to reducing harmful drinking. Grant’s career in the alcohol industry started at the Alcohol Education Centre where he worked as director of a UK-based non-governmental organisation.
