The value of Irish spirits exports increased by 10.2% in 2018 to surpass €1 billion (US$1.1bn) for the first time. Sales of flavoured gin soar 751% in UK

The value of the UK’s flavoured gin market increased by a staggering 751% in 2018, when total sales of the juniper spirit hit 73 million bottles, according to new data. UK liqueur sales hit £1.2 billion

After a further 3.1 million bottles were sold during the summer months, liqueur sales in the UK reached £1.2 billion (US$1.5bn) according to figures from the Wine and Spirit Trade Association (WSTA).
