People drink less if presented with more no-ABV options

Consumers are more likely to choose non-alcoholic drinks if the number of zero-ABV options is greater than boozy beverages, new research has shown. According to the results of an online experiment by the University of Bristol, in the UK, when the number of non-alcoholic drinks available was greater than alcoholic options, 49% of those surveyed chose a non-alcoholic drink. Spencer Matthews launches 1.2% ABV Clean Gin

Former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews has launched The Clean Liquor Company, a low- and no-alcohol brand that released its first product this week, called Clean Gin. Pernod Ricard has waded further into the low- and no-abv drinks territory with the launch of an alcohol-free ‘dark spirit’.
