A rare bottle of Havana Club rum and a cabinet of cigars sold for €2.4 million (US$2.7m) at auction, with the funds destined to go towards supporting the development of Cuban public health. Cocktails boost rum sales in UK on-trade

Rum sales in the UK on-trade rose 7% in 2019 driven by the popularity of cocktails and mixed drinks, plus flavoured and spiced variants.
