Dalmore unveils 51-year-old whisky for £55,000

Only 51 decanters of a 51-year-old Dalmore single malt Scotch whisky have been released, priced at RRP £55,000 (US$71,700) per bottle. Bottled at 40% ABV, the whisky was first matured in ex-Bourbon casks before being split between Port Colheita 1938 casks, Matusalem Sherry casks and first-fill Bourbon casks. Dalmore debuts 60-year-old single malt

Single malt Scotch The Dalmore has released just three decanters of a 60-year-old whisky as part of the brand’s 180th anniversary. The Dalmore L’Anima Aged 49 Years, created by master distiller Richard Paterson and Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura, has raised US$141,688 for charity after being sold during an online auction.
