Edrington GTR names new regional managing director

Edrington Global Travel Retail has restructured its organisation and appointed Jeremy Speirs as regional managing director. Heinemann revenue drops 60% due to Covid-19

Travel retail operator Gebr Heinemann reported turnover fell by almost 60% in the first six months of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. For full-year 2019, the group saw its revenue grow 5.3% to €4.8 billion (US$5.6bn), up from €4.6bn (US$5.4bn). MEADFA cancels 2020 conference

The board of the Middle East and Africa Duty Free Association (MEADFA) has cancelled its 2020 conference due to the “severe economic impact” of the Covid-19 pandemic on the global travel retail sector.
