Plans approved for £1.5m Whitby Distillery

English gin maker Whitby Distillery has been granted planning approval for the construction of a new £1.5 million (US$1.9m) distillery in North Yorkshire. A fire broke out at the distillery operated by Masons Gin in Bedale, Yorkshire yesterday morning (2 April). According to Masons Yorkshire Gin, no-one was injured in the incident.
