Edmonton’s Alchemy Bar is transforming aspiring cocktail enthusiasts into seasoned mixologists with its ongoing ‘Cocktails 101’ series. Held within the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District, these hands-on classes offer a unique opportunity to learn the art of crafting exquisite cocktails – and it’s gaining serious traction.
Each month, Alchemy Bar hosts one or two sessions, showcasing current trends and seasonal flavors. Participants embark on a journey, guided by Chef Allen, learning to build four expertly paired cocktails. Complementing the drinks are specially curated bites designed to enhance the tasting experience. This month’s lineup offers something for every palate, with themes spanning from New Year resolutions to celebrating love and, of course, embracing St. Patrick’s Day.

Classes cost $100 and have a limited capacity of just 14 people. Given the high demand, advance registration is strongly recommended. As a thank you for participating, each attendee receives a custom gift bag filled with cocktail-making essentials and treats.
