A New Chapter for Cooper’s Hawk: The Largest Winery in the Country Comes to Livonia
The fifth location of the Downers Grove, Illinois-headquartered chain is scheduled to open on March 2, bringing a unique blend of wine and cuisine to the Michigan market.
Located at 17115 N. Laurel Park Drive, Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant will feature a large dining room accommodating nearly 250 guests and an outdoor patio seating 48. The private dining space can accommodate up to 48 guests.
The restaurant’s winery, touted as one of the largest in the country, produces more than 60 wine varieties that have received over 600 awards. The winery will also feature a Napa-style tasting room and specialty retail market under one roof.

A Contemporary American Menu with Wine Pairings
Kariel Smith helms the culinary team in Livonia, offering a variety of menus including lunch, brunch, happy hour, dinner, and a kid’s menu, as well as catering options.
Some highlights from the menu include crispy Brussels sprouts with cashews, mint, sweet Thai chili, and sesame-sriracha aioli; horseradish, bleu cheese, and Parmesan-crusted filet medallions; soy ginger Atlantic salmon with wasabi-buttered mashed potatoes and Asian slaw; and gnocchi carbonara paired with pancetta, chicken, sage, peas, and Parmesan garlic cream sauce.
The ‘Life Balance Menu’ will offer optional portion sizes in the 300 to 700-calorie range, alongside each menu item is a ‘bin’ number, indicating a wine pairing.

The extensive wine club offers members the opportunity to create their own wine journeys through events like group travel, wine classes, and seasonal gourmet dinners. Members also have access to exclusive wines and a new wine selection every month.
