Collecting ‘Dickey’ Beer, the iconic Biker Scout stunt double from ‘Return of the Jedi,’ is heading to Earth for a rare public appearance. The legendary performer will be a guest at Echo Base Live: Unmasked, a dedicated Star Wars collector’s event taking place on March 7th, 2026, at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch, UK.
Beer’s role as a Biker Scout in ‘Return of the Jedi’ remains one of the most recognizable figures in the entire Star Wars saga. He spent countless hours doubling for Harrison Ford, enduring grueling conditions and expertly executing daring stunts that became staples of the film. However, Beer’s career extends far beyond the Star Wars galaxy. For over three decades, he’s been a prolific stunt performer, lending his skills to a remarkably diverse range of blockbuster franchises.
His filmography reads like a who’s who of action cinema. Beyond ‘Return of the Jedi,’ he’s appeared in ‘Jurassic World Dominion,’ ‘Wonder Woman 1984,’ ‘Nightcrawler,’ ‘Need for Speed,’ ‘The Bourne Legacy,’ ‘Transformers,’ ‘Death Race 2,’ ‘Previl,’ ‘Pineapple Express,’ ‘Hancock,’ ‘Tomb Raider,’ ‘Terminator 3,’ ‘Tomorrow Never Dies,’ ‘Starship Troopers,’ ‘Total Recall,’ ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,’ ‘Rambo 3,’ and even ‘A View to a Kill’ and ‘Dune.’ This breadth of experience speaks to Beer’s adaptability and the trust placed in him by some of Hollywood’s biggest directors.
Echo Base Live: Unmasked promises a full day of celebration for Star Wars enthusiasts. Beer will be joined by fellow stunt performers Sebastian Dewin, John Fensom, Paul Jerricho, Brian Muir, and Spencer Wilding. The event will feature autograph sessions, Q&A panels, and opportunities to immerse yourself in the world of Star Wars collecting.
