The distillery, located at Habergham Mill on One Slater Terrace, changed hands earlier in 2026 when husband-and-wife team Jamie and Sharlene Butterfield took over the award-winning business. The new owners aim to build on the work already done while keeping the distillery firmly rooted in Burnley. Supporters can purchase the bottles through the club or at centenary events. The launch coincides with Ginwag #1: A Night on the Cobbles, scheduled for November 13 at One Slater Terrace.

Jamie and Sharlene Butterfield had been customers and supporters of Batch for a number of years before acquiring the business. Batch Distillery is relaunching its Don’t Bottle It Up gin, with £5 from every bottle sold donated to Six Connections.
