Brand & Industry History
In 2017, the Tennessee Whiskey Trail was launched by the Tennessee Distillers Guild as a celebration of the state and its signature spirits. Today, the organization hosts more than 30 stops across the state, offering a taste of Tennessee and a road map for adventure. Visitors to the Trail can soak up the sights and sounds that have been shaped by Tennessee whiskey, whether stopping by for a sip or making a weekend of it.
What This Means
Charity Toombs, executive director of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, noted that the initiative is about more than what’s in the glass. It focuses on the people, places and experiences that make exploring Tennessee so special. While whiskey is a year-round staple, Fireside Tennessee is perfect for those who like their brown liquor when it’s chillier.
