Four Roses initially partnered with the local honey producer Bohman Bee Company to create a Bourbon Barrel Aged Honey made with wildflower honey and aged in one of the barrels to absorb the flavor. Once the honey was removed, the same barrels were sent back to the distillery to produce the bourbon.
