The production adheres to traditional direct-fired distillation methods passed down through six generations of the Grant family.
Following the announcement, the whisky is available from August through selected specialist retailers for a recommended retail price of £95.00. Limited to 15,000 bottles, the release notes that the casks were married together and bottled at 51.4% ABV – formerly 90 British proof, the system used to indicate alcohol content during the first 154 years of production at the distillery.
