Tokyo Tides marks a deliberate rethinking of traditional blending hierarchies by giving each component equal importance in shaping the final liquid. Traditionally, grain whisky plays a supporting role within blends but is elevated as an equal expression of character alongside the other three whiskies.
In Toki Suntory Whisky, Hakushu American white oak cask malt whisky brings freshness, soft mellowness and vibrant green apple notes while Chita heavy-type grain whisky contributes a clean structure, gentle sweetness and vanilla-like smoothness. Select Yamazaki malt whiskies are then harmonized to add depth, roundness and layered complexity.
