The Full Story
Owner Jason Harvey told Clarksville Now said he owns the catering company next door, and some time ago he realized the need for a good Southern restaurant across the Cumberland River. A lot of the locals have been saying, ‘Hey we want something,’ Harvey said. So, I did all-you-can-eat buffets throughout the summer of 2025 until the fall to talk to the community about what they wanted and what they liked.
Harvey said he worked with local artists who came in and decorated throughout the restaurant. ‘It was a community effort in a sense,’ he said. The bar was hand-built; the tables are hand-built. It was a struggle for the first five to six weeks as they established themselves, but his workers have come in with passion and heart.
Brand & Industry History
This building is pretty historic in itself; it was the original Catfish House location. Harvey said he worked with local artists who came in and decorated throughout the restaurant. ‘It was a community effort in a sense,’ he said.
What This Means
Harvey said it was a struggle for the first five to six weeks as they established themselves, but his workers have come in with passion and heart. ‘But we want to be a place where people come and it’s their restaurant,’ he said. We’ll take their feedback; we’ll take their criticism; we’ll roll with the punches. We understand we can’t please everybody, but we want people to have memories here.
