Overview: London’s Hidden Society has introduced a new art-led cocktail list titled Happy Accidents, featuring five drinks that collectively form an imagined landscape inspired by American painter and television personality Bob Ross. The menu debuted on Goodge Street as part of the Nightcap group following the bar’s opening in March 2026.

The collection builds on the venue’s creative ethos, translating the visual experience of a painting into something that can be tasted. Each of the five cocktails represents an individual expression within the landscape, progressing from Sky to Mountain, Forest, Lake, and finally Sunset. General manager Mario Hernandez noted that Bob Ross demonstrated creativity does not require rigidity or perfection. The team considered how recurring elements in his landscapes might translate to flavour across the five serves.
Sky has Crystal Head Vodka and Fenjiu Baijiu as its base, combined with Suze, a chrysanthemum and honey cordial, and citrus soda to create a ‘light, floral and expansive’ cocktail. Mountain is described as ‘bright, crisp and textured’ and features Kay Sake, Ojo de Dios Mezcal, pine liqueur, Prosecco, and yuzu sorbet. To represent the Forest, the Hidden Society team has combined Mijenta Reposado Tequila, Skinos Mastiha Liqueur, rosemary, ginger, and Dr Hostetter’s Bitter.
The Lake is a ‘calm, elegant and reflective’ serve that blends Crystal Head Vodka, Beesou Honey Aperitif, Edwards Elderflower Liqueur, chamomile, and orange bitters. Sunset is evoked through Mijenta Blanco Tequila, Cointreau Spicy, Khoosh bitter liqueur, and citrus.
