University of Iowa Athletics and Cedar Ridge Distillery have announced a collection of limited-edition spirits, 1847 Bourbon and 1847 Vodka. Matt Henderson, deputy director of Athletics, External Relations at University of Iowa Athletics, stated in the release, “We are excited to celebrate this expanded partnership with Cedar Ridge and the introduction of 1847 Bourbon and Vodka to Hawkeye fans.” He added that Cedar Ridge has been a valued partner of the Hawkeyes for many years, noting their commitment to quality, innovation, and Iowa-made craftsmanship aligns with what fans appreciate. The products will be adorned with a Tigerhawk design and available for purchase across stores in Iowa starting in August.
