Denver’s cocktail scene is about to get a seriously futuristic injection with the arrival of Adventure Time Bar, opening January 15th at 101 South Broadway in the heart of the Broadway district. Owners Sam and Laura Wood are bringing a unique concept to the city – a rotating-themed bar designed for immersive experiences, promising an ‘escape’ with each session.
The bar’s inaugural theme, ‘Neon City,’ is a full-blown homage to cyberpunk classics like *Blade Runner*, *Akira*, and *The Matrix*. Prepare for a visual assault of glowing plasma walls, holographic projections trimmed with neon lights, and vibrant electric-blue highballs. This isn’t just a drink; it’s a transport to a digitally-drenched future.
Each session lasts ninety minutes and requires a ticketed entry. Seating is available from Thursday through Saturday at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., with extended hours on Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m. Reservations are essential and can be made via OpenTable.
But the experience extends beyond the visuals. The menu boasts a range of inventive cocktails, including the decadent ‘Liquid Lace’ espresso martini, the surprisingly boozy ‘Atom Smashr’ incorporating Dippin’ Dots, and the ‘Corpo-tini’ – a sophisticated dirty martini inspired by French onion soup. For those opting for a non-alcoholic journey, thoughtfully crafted booze-free options are also available.
Adventure Time Bar is poised to become a hotspot for discerning drinkers and visual enthusiasts alike. Prepare to lose yourself in a world of neon, cocktails, and immersive entertainment. Don’t miss the launch – tickets are available now.
